BC Wildlife Park Kamloops was founded in 1965 by John Moelaert. The mission of the park is to encourage an appreciation of wildlife, and to perverse biodiversity through research, rehabilitation and educational services.
Their hope is to embrace conservation of wild ecosystems through education. The park offers tours in which you can experience the various wildlife including cats, bears, reptiles, and many more. They offer memberships, tour group experiences, special events, and volunteer opportunities.
