Where Did This Vineyard Acquire Its Name?

The founder Adolf Kruger bought land near Okanagan Falls in 1983. When he went back to his new property there was a huge flock of Canada geese feeding there. He decided right then to call his property Wild Goose Vineyards.

From the Beginning – A Look at the History

Did you know the Wild Goose was one of the first twenty wineries to be founded in the area? It was actually the 17th winery. It was originally founded by the owners in 1990. It is known for having a vineyard that produces some of the most delicious wine in British Columbia.

Additional Amenities – What Else You Can Enjoy

You can enjoy not only the amazing wine but a great deal of amenities on the property. There's a bistro and food available on the property that you can enjoy. The bistro is open daily from noon to five and features vegan and gluten free menu items as well as some amazing smoked meats. Each of the meals available from the Smoke and Oak is paired with a great wine or cider.

If you are looking for great wine, amazing atmosphere and elegant geese then come to the vineyard. You are not going to regret giving this place a try.
