Zabb is a Thai restaurant that is owned and operated by Mon Chowchong. He has owned three other restaurants in Okanagan, but was determined to make a mark with his highly known Zabb Thai Restaurant. This eatery quickly became popular among patrons in Kelowna.

The Menu

In Thai, Zabb means tasty or delicious, and Chowchong has created a menu that is just that. Service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is inviting. Gift certificates are available.

There are a variety of dishes available on their menu. Here are some of the favorites that patrons rave about.

• N1 Pad Thai with Shrimp – rice noodles, shrimp, egg, tofu, bean sprouts, green onion and crushed peanuts.  
• M1 Chicken Cashews – cashews, pineapple, red peppers, onion, zucchini and carrots.
• M3 Beef Peanut Sauce – sautéed beef on spinach, onion, bean sprout, and a side of peanut sauce.

If you like Spice, then you will want to try out these combinations.

• C1 Green Curry with Chicken – green beans, basil, red pepper, carrots, bok-choy, and zucchini.
• S2 Tom Yum Shrimp – lemongrass base, lime leaf, mushrooms and onions
• M4 Drunken Inger Chicken – red pepper, green beans, spinach, carrots, ginger and whiskey.
• C4 Zabb Curry with Beef – Southern style curry, green beans and bamboo shoots.

Locations and Hours

Zabb Thai Restaurants has two locations found in the Okanagan area, which are:

• Zabb Mission - Located at 3009 Pandosy Street. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11am to 2:30pm, and dinner from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. They are now open on Sundays.
• Zabb Rutland – Located at 11 – 150 Hollywood Road South. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11am to 2:30pm, and for dinner from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. This location is closed on Sunday.
