Locolanding Adventure Park is Okangan kids’ favorite place to go. It’s an adventure park built in 2001 that was intended for families to come and have fun together and create memories. It started with a simply 18-hole miniature golf course and each year a new attraction has been added to make 9 attractions total. This family business is located in Penticton and offers attractions, food, and activities and it’s even available for parties. Here is a look at all you can enjoy through LocoLanding Adventure Park.

Attractions

The Adventure Park now offers several great attractions for the whole family to enjoy. There are thrilling rides like the Go Karts where you can race around the outdoor track or ride with your children in the same cart, or try the bumper boats where you ride on your own bumper boat outfitted with water cannons. For something more laidback, try the 18-hole miniature golf course complete with caves, waterfalls and a train trestle.

For those that want get active, try Monkey Motion, the first innovate jumper attraction in Canada. 4 jumpers can go at a time soaring up 18 feet high using bungee cords. Aeroball, similar to volleyball and basketball, allows you to try a trampoline sport. There is also the Cannonball game, similar to what you’d see at a carnival in which you blast small foam balls out of your cannon to try to make it into your opponents net.

The High-level ropes course is a favourite attraction where you can walk the tightrope or plank in the air over water. You’ll be able to try two different levels. Don’t forget to try rock climbing with as many as 3 people climbing 24 feet to the top and Spider Mountain, the 35 foot long inflatable slide.

Admission

Each attraction has its own cost and there are package deals available. It costs $10 for the go-karts, mini-golf, $12 for the high-level ropes course and most other attractions are $5. The park is located at 75 Riverside Drive in Penticton and opens in Easter 2015.

While you’re there, enjoy over 40 flavours of ice cream, fish feeding between hole #1 and #18 at the mini-golf, the naturescape garden or even your birthday party at the park.

The LocoLanding Adventure Park is open May through September from 11-4 with extended summer hours in July and August. Bring the whole family out for a day of great memories.
