The Iconic Tree of Hope in Kelowna

The Iconic Tree of Hope in Kelowna stands as a stunning, 120-foot symbol of the holiday season, adorned with 25,000 bulbs. While the holiday market event at the Tree finished in November, it remains a beautiful sight in the Landmark neighbourhood along Harvey Ave until January. It's perfect for a quick, festive drive-by or a walk with some hot cocoa.

The market, supporting the Central Okanagan Food Bank, ran for two days in late November. This year, it featured a significant contribution from the Stober Foundation to the Food Bank, providing essential nutrition to those in need. The Tree of Hope, with its grandeur and the community's spirit of giving, continues to be a beloved Kelowna tradition.

Stuart Park Ice Rink: A Canadian Holiday Tradition

From November 29th to December 23rd. Tickets are priced at $60.

Kettley Valley: A Magical Drive Through Kelowna

Journey through this picturesque neighborhood and witness the breathtaking backdrop of the valley, lake, and city views, perfectly complemented by the vibrant, colourful Christmas light displays. Make your trip even more special by visiting the quaint café, Kettle Valley Coffee & Scoops. Be sure to stop by early to grab a cup of hot cocoa, as the café closes at 6pm!

Candy Cane Lane: Winter Wonderland in Rutland

Prepare to be dazzled as several blocks in Rutland transform into a whimsical wonderland throughout December. Candy Cane Lane is famous locally! Bundle up warmly and take a leisurely stroll through the neighbourhood, taking in the mesmerizing lights. It's a fun, casual stroll or drive, with lots of lights and a genuine sense of community effort. It's festive, friendly, and a great example of neighbourhood spirit.

Gellatly Nut Farm: Dazzling Lights in West Kelowna

Embrace the holiday spirit at Gellatly Nut Farm, where an archway of dazzling lights awaits. Delight in the melodic tunes of carolers and warm up by the bonfire, savouring hot chocolate. As you explore this festive event from December 10th to 19th, don't forget to pick up some roasted nuts, adding the perfect touch of seasonal flavor to your experience.

Downtown Armstrong and Spirit Square

Escape to the small city charm of Downtown Armstrong and Spirit Square, where the holiday spirit is in full swing. Starting from November 27th, the streets come alive with a symphony of lights, creating a picturesque setting for family time. Sip on hot chocolate, sway to the tunes of Christmas music, and let the twinkling lights ignite your holiday cheer.

Step into History at O'Keefe Ranch

Visit O'Keefe Ranch for a Victorian Christmas celebration, brimming with old-world charm and festive spirit. From December 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17, 2023, the ranch transforms into a winter wonderland with twinkling lights and historic houses adorned for the season. You'll find an array of activities for all ages: meet Father Christmas for a memorable photo (pets included), engage in delightful kids' crafts, and explore our artisan gift shop for unique finds. Be part of our Gingerbread House Competition or simply marvel at the intricate displays. Warm up by the general store's bonfire with roasted chestnuts and savor hot chocolate and s'mores. For an extra touch of holiday fun, take home a cookie-train making kit. Open from 10 AM to 3 PM, your visit, supported by donations, promises a magical step back in time.

Sparkly Lights in Vernon: Spirit Square and Beyond

In Vernon, Spirit Square beckons you with a tunnel of beautiful, sparkly lights, enveloping you in a festive embrace. Take a moment to spot the Christmas Star at Swan Lake, marvel at the lit-up houses on 40th Ave., and venture through the beautifully decorated streets like Lakeridge Drive and Amber Drive.
