Awards and Recognition

Bouchons Bistro was recognized as one of the top ten best new restaurants in Canada in 2004. In 2014 it was awarded with the Traveler’s Choice Reward by Trip Advisor. Also, in 2013, 2014, and 2015 the Bistro received the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator Magazine. With all of these accolades, you can be sure that you won’t be disappointed when you dine here.

The Menu

Bouchons Bistro serves French Regional comfort food.  Each week diners are offered “Our Chef’s Table” which includes such tantalizing items as Smoked Salmon with Baby Shrimp Salad, Escargots in puff pastry, Pan-seared Duck Breast, and Grilled B.C. Tuna. 

If you prefer to try other menu choices, you can choose from the colourful variety of dishes for dinner such as Angus Beef, Juicy Chicken, Rabbit Casserole, Duck Breast, and Rack of Lamb just to name a few. They also offer a fresh vegetarian menu as well.

Desserts to Die For

End the evening with a delectable dessert choice of a Lavender Soufflé, Silky Lemon Tartlet, or a fabulous Crème Brulee’. Desserts are beautifully created with fresh French cream.

The Host with the Most

Richard Toussaint, the Matri’D, has served many famous people such as Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon, Angelina Jolie, Ben Kingsley, and Donald Sutherland just to name a few. He apprenticed in some of the top restaurants in Quebec City where he was born.
