Before heading out to Drew’s Kitchen, it is a good idea to take the time to learn a little more about it. Read on to see what this unique kitchen has to offer you.
What to Expect
From Monday thru Saturday in the Summerland, British Columbia area, enjoy locally produced British, local, and Indian fusion at Drew's Kitchen. The meat is from local farmers, and the sausage and bacon comes from free range pigs. Local grocers supply the ingredients to the homemade food that Drew’s Kitchen is now famous for in the Summerland area.
Ambience
Drew's Kitchen is nicely put together with dark wood tables and chairs. The staff is friendly and attentive to everyone. The servers are very knowledgeable and give good advice about their food. The cozy atmosphere will make you feel welcomed and like you are eating at home. Even the kids can play with toys or colour as they wait for their food, making Drew’s Kitchen a family friendly restaurant.
The Menu
Drew's does breakfast well, making this a good choice for a hearty breakfast or brunch. Order the Big Brit, a huge plate of two eggs of any style, homemade sausage, black bacon, tomatoes, baked beans, and fried mushrooms. Wash it down with bottomless, freshly brewed coffee or tea served in cute, little teacups. Drew's Kitchen is known for their huge sandwiches at lunch time, often large enough to serve two people at once.
Convenience
Being right off Main Street makes Drew’s Kitchen easy to get to. It is convenient for a quick bite on your lunch break, or to start or end your day of shopping or sightseeing.
Drew's Kitchen is only open during breakfast and lunch, so check the hours on their website if you are unsure. Definitely make time to stop in though, if you are in the area, for a filling home cooked, local meal at an affordable cost.
