This is a very popular time of year for festivals and other types of events. Here are just a few of the many events coming up throughout the area.

Family Pumpkin Festival - October 18th to October 26th

This event will include plenty of pumpkin picking, pumpkin treats, entertainment and more. It will be held at Davison Orchards found at 3111 Davison Road in Vernon.

Haunted Kamloops Tour with the Kamloops Museum & Archives - October 23rd to October 25th

The Kamloops Museum & Archives will hold this very interesting haunted tour at the burial grounds throughout the area. It will explore some of the scary and spooking spots in Kamloops including scenes of murders, hangings and more.

The tour will be family-friendly on Wednesday, while Thursday and Friday won't be suitable for children.

Spooktacular Pumpkin Walk - October 26th

This pumpkin walk will be held at Gellalty Nut Farm Regional Park in West Kelowna. It will start at 5pm and guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. The walk will head through the historic nut orchard, which will be decorated with pumpkins and lights. Donations for the West Kelowna Food Bank will be accepted.
