Family Shopping in a MallIt is not uncommon for some communities to have a pretty consistent shopping experience in terms of what kinds of shops there are and what kinds of things you can buy. That isn't really how it works in Thompson Okanagan. The shopping scene is just as varied as the community's landscaping is.

There are three main shopping districts within Okanagan. These shopping districts include Penticton, Kamloops, and Kelowna. You will find all sorts of things between these three communities including everything from specialty boutiques to major retail stores.

Here are a handful of the more popular places to shop in the different districts:

Penticton, BC, Canada

Kamloops, BC, Canada

Kelowna, BC, Canada

As you can see from this list, all three of these communities offer tons of different malls and shopping centres. They are all three home to a handful of boutique shops. Penticton and Kelowna are known for having a few more specialty boutiques than Kamloops is. Kamloops, on the other hand, is littered with way more shopping malls and centres.

The North Shore of Kamloops offers an interesting blend of different secondhand shops, antique stores, and specialty stores. Main and Front Street, in Penticton, offer an impressive mixture of gourmet gifts, brass, pottery, crafts, and outdoor recreational equipment.

BC, Canada is a region that is known for its wine and produce. Wine and produce, however, are far from the only two products you can find and purchase with ease. In fact, chances are pretty good it would take a while for you to run out of fun things to purchase.
