Arrowleaf Cellars is a great family owned wine business that takes pride in customer service. Ran by the Zuppigers and their son they are innovative and committed wine makers. Each family member has a job to do, and they are often helped by others in the family when they can take a break from school or work.

They immigrated to Canada from Switzerland in 1986 and earned a living running a dairy and fruit operation at separate times. When they decided something new was in order, they purchased Suncrest Vineyard in 1998 and opened it in 2003.

Manuel Zuppiger went back to Switzerland to his roots and learned how to make wine. When he came back to the states he knew exactly the type of product he wanted to put out.

The Main Focus of This Winery – Keeping it Local

Their main focus when it comes to creating their product is keeping it local. It is very important to them that they show the community they really care. They get most of their grapes from Lake Country and put that money back into the community. They are also happy to get most of their bottles and caps from a manufacturer in Washington State.

The vineyards are over a sixteen acre span and located on the Okanagan Lake. Some of the Bacchus, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer planted there were started in 1986. The Vineyard keeps it simple with The First Crush which are blended wines, Varietal Wines which include specialties called Arrowleaf, and a premium tier called Solstice. The Solstice offers the best grapes and production the vineyard has to give its customers.

A Great Choice for Wine Lovers

If you’re a wine lover then the Arrowleaf Cellar is a great place to find a wide variety of wine. Bring a friend or family member who loves wine with you and you are guaranteed to have a great time.
