Thompson Okanagan is a land filled with over 1,000 lakes. These lakes bring tons of fun, that can be enjoyed in the warm weather that you will find in this region. The best spot for canoeing is Kelowna and Thompson Lake. Clearwater and Adams River are ideal for rafting.
It may have all started with the Mission Hill winery winning an award back in 1994, but it certainly didn't end there. Since the Grand Reserve Chardonnay from this winery won the award for the best Chardonnay at the London International Wine & Spirit Competition, the wine industry has exploded in Okanagan.
